What we store, and what never leaves your phone.

Accounts belong to adults: parents, guardians, coaches and trainers, and athletes old enough to hold their own. An athlete under 13 does not have an account and cannot sign in. They exist in the app as a record that an adult created and controls.

Your email address, your name, the city and state you gave, the organization you named if you gave one, and a profile photo if you added one. If you signed in with Google or Apple, we receive your email address and name from them and nothing else.

A name, a date of birth, a sport, and optionally a height, a weight, whether they throw and bat left or right, and a photo. Alongside that, the measurements recorded for them: pop times, receiving reps, and any video saved to their record.

An athlete record is visible only to the people who have been given access to it, one adult at a time, by an invitation somebody sent on purpose.

Pop time and receiving keep the video on your phone. When you measure a rep, the app reads the clip on the device and uploads the resulting numbers and a single still frame. The video itself is never sent to us.

Annotated video is the one exception. When you deliberately save an annotated clip to an athlete, that video is uploaded so the other people who hold that athlete can watch it. It is stored privately and can only be viewed through a temporary link generated for someone who already has access to that athlete.

• There is no way to browse or search for an athlete. None of this is public.
• There are no leaderboards, no public profiles and no rankings.
• We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
• We do not use athlete data to train anything.
• We never collect phone numbers, home addresses or payment details.
• There is no messaging, no comments and no way for a stranger to reach a child.

We use PostHog to understand how the app is used and to hear about crashes. It records that something happened, never what was measured: no pop time, no athlete name, no age group. Nothing in our analytics can say anything about a specific child.

The only person identified is the adult account holder, by their account id and email address, so that a crash can be traced to a session and fixed.

Supabase hosts our database, authentication and file storage. Resend delivers the emails we send you. PostHog receives the analytics described above. Google and Apple handle sign-in if you use it. Each of them processes this information on our instructions and for no purpose of their own.

Until you delete it. Deleting an athlete removes that athlete and every measurement on them. Deleting your account removes your profile, your photos, and every athlete that only you can see, along with all of their measurements and video. An athlete that somebody else also holds stays with them.

How to delete your account and your data

You can see and change everything on your own account and on any athlete you hold, from inside the app. You can remove another adult’s access to an athlete at any time. You can delete your account without asking us. If you would rather we did something by hand, write to us and we will.

Pipeline Sports is used by adults on behalf of young athletes. We do not knowingly let anyone under 13 create an account. If you believe a child has created one, write to us and we will remove it.

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we do with your information, we will say so on this page and update the date above. We will not quietly broaden what we collect.
