Pipeline Sports Privacy Policy
Last updated September 26, 2026
Pipeline Sports provides tools for measuring and reviewing baseball and softball performance. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and retain personal information through the Pipeline mobile app and related services. It also explains how to contact us about your information.
The account holder may not be the athlete identified in an athlete record. Parents, guardians, coaches, and trainers may maintain athlete records, while athletes may maintain their own. This policy applies to personal information relating to both account holders and athletes.
1. Information we collect
Account and profile information. We collect information you provide when creating and using an account, such as your name and email address. This may also include information received when you choose to sign in using another account, as well as your preferences and privacy choices.
Athlete information. We collect personal and athletic information provided about athletes, such as age and physical measurements, as well as information about the people authorized to manage their records.
Session and analysis information. We collect information associated with athlete sessions, including session inputs, performance results, and analysis corrections used to provide and improve the service.
Usage and technical information. We collect information about how you use Pipeline and the technology used to access it, such as device information and IP addresses, together with diagnostics about service performance.
Communications. We collect the information you provide in feedback, support requests, and other communications with us.
2. How we use information
We use information to analyze athlete performance, monitor progress, maintain athlete records, and facilitate sharing at the direction of users. We also use information to diagnose technical issues and improve the accuracy, reliability, and security of the service.
We collect analytics and crash-reporting information to understand feature usage, assess analysis accuracy, and investigate technical issues. These records may be associated with your account to support a high-quality customer experience.
3. Service providers
We engage companies to process information on our behalf and help operate Pipeline, including services for hosting, storage, authentication, communications, analytics, software delivery, and technical support. These companies receive information only as needed to provide their services to us, subject to applicable law and contractual protections.
4. How information is shared
Athlete records are accessible only to users who have been granted access. Those users may save or share copies outside Pipeline. We may also disclose information when required by law, when reasonably necessary to protect Pipeline or others, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of the business.
We do not sell personal information or disclose it for targeted advertising. Pipeline does not offer public athlete directories or profiles.
5. Retention and deletion
We retain information only for as long as necessary to provide and improve Pipeline or meet legal requirements.
You can delete your account in the app. Deleting your account removes your profile and access to shared athlete records, along with any athlete records that no other account manages. Shared athlete records remain available to the other authorized users.
Deleted information may remain temporarily in backups or be retained where required for legal or security purposes.
6. Your choices and privacy requests
You may review and update your information in the app. You may also request a copy, correction, or deletion of personal information by emailing hello@pipelinesports.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing your request.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights. You may contact us to exercise those rights or appeal a decision about your request. We will respond as required by law.
7. Children and teen athletes
Pipeline accounts are available to individuals aged 13 and older. Parents, guardians, coaches, and trainers may create and manage records for younger athletes.
If you believe a child under 13 has created an account or that Pipeline has information about a child without appropriate permission, contact hello@pipelinesports.com.
8. Security
We protect personal information with encryption, secure authentication, and access controls that limit access to authorized users.
9. Changes to this policy
We may revise this policy to reflect changes in our services and practices. The date shown above will identify the most recent revision. If a change materially affects how we handle personal information, we will provide notice through the app or another appropriate channel. Where required by law, we will obtain your consent or acknowledgment before the change takes effect.
Any new collection or use of information remains subject to applicable law and any required consent. Changes to this policy do not alter the commitments that applied when information was collected.
10. Contact
For questions about this policy, athlete information, or a privacy request, contact Pipeline Sports at hello@pipelinesports.com.
